Workshops & Groups​

Inner Wellth offers a variety of workshops and groups to help people grow, learn, and move actively towards their goals in a safe group learning environment.​
Groups and workshops are provided throughout the year both onsite and offsite. If you are interested in learning more about the various groups and scheduling onsite, or if you would like to schedule to have our coaches and clinicians come do a workshop at your location,

DBT SKILLS TRAINING (several ONGOING CLASSES)

Integrating emotion and reason for wise lives
  • Learn skills that help you self-advocate
  • Learn what to do when life gets really difficult
  • Learn to balance your emotions 
  • Be able to apply a be-here-now approach to life
  • Focus on building positive experiences into life
  • This group can be taken alone, or in combination with comprehensive DBT (encouraged)
  • More of a classroom setting. Not group therapy.
  • Learn all about dialectics (how to find the middle path between two positions) to become skillful
  • Based in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills

"GIRL TALK" GROUP (TEENS)

The teenage years can be a tough time for many adolescents. It's a journey of self-discovery filled with many different changes & new experiences. Often these adjustments can be overwhelming, and you can be left feeling confused, sad, anxious, and/or angry. Vent about what you're going through from your parents to peers to school to life in general. 
  • Learn how to cope with any anxiety, sadness, or anger you feel. 
  • Develop effective communication skills to help get your message across to your parents, peers, & teachers.
  • Connect with others, feel supported & validated in your journey through the teenage years. 

Workshop: Mindfulness for Stress Reduction

Mindfulness-based techniques are scientifically researched & proven methods for reducing stress, increasing focus, regulating emotions, increasing one's sense of well-being & happiness, and managing pain. 
  • Move stress off center stage
  • Help claim stillness & well-being in your life & in the lives around you
  • Taught though a variety of guided awareness exercises such as body relaxation, gratitude practices, breathing, stretching & movement techniques

Workshop: Self-Hypnosis for Stress Relief

Learn how to enter a deeply relaxed, but focused state to achieve your optimal level of wellness. 
  • Fight tension
  • Help prevent health problems related to chronic stress
  • Reduce anxiety levels you feel when encountering situations that normally trigger stress
  • Overcome negative habits used in the past to cope with stress such as compulsive eating & smoking

Workshop: Gratitude 

Cultivate an optimal state for satisfying interpersonal relationships and inner harmony.
  • Learn to achieve & magnify happiness at the cellular level
  • Learn how to appreciate & want what you already have vs. what you do not
  • Manifest what you truly desire
  • Walk daily in positivity, calmness, & centeredness
