Medina is passionate in helping others discover how to be their best, authentic selves. At Inner Wellth, she works with individuals, couples, families, and groups dealing with a variety of life transition and mental health issues.
Medina's approach is to mobilize a client's strengths and previous successes to address the current life challenges at hand. She does this with a sense of warmth and engagement, and connects easily with many different kinds of people.
She is the clinical graduate intern, in her final year at Fairleigh Dickinson University studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling on track to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Medina’s experience in clinical counseling derives from internships at The Anxiety Disorders Center at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, as well as Summit Oaks Hospital Psychiatric Outpatient in Summit, NJ; in which she has worked with a variety of disorders, including learning disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and various personality disorders. Medina is also bi-lingual, fluent in English and Albanian.
